Over 75 community members came together to make memory boxes for families of hospice patients. Hospice of the Valleys hosted the free event at Temeku Hills Clubhouse and had adults and children of all ages participating. Volunteers assembled and decorated memory boxes, which will be given to families of patients on hospice care. The boxes can be used to hold photographs and mementos of patients once they have passed. Memory boxes aid in the grieving process and are something family members can turn to whenever they want to feel close to their lost loved one, or if they just want to remember.
